  • You must reuse your original switch and immobilizer chip
  • We highly recommend professional installation if you're unfamiliar with vehicle repairs

 

How to Replace Steering Lock Barrel Housing

  • Disconnect the negative battery terminal.
  • Remove steering column trim covers.
  • Remove bolts securing the steering lock housing.
  • Detach and keep your original ignition switch (will be reused).
  • Remove the old barrel housing.
  • Install the new housing and secure it in place.
  • Reattach the original ignition switch.
  • Reinstall trim covers and reconnect the battery.
  • Test key operation and engine start.
