This Radiator Cap for Holden and Vauxhall is a screw-down type pressure cap designed to maintain proper cooling system pressure for optimal engine cooling and performance. The cap helps raise the boiling point of the coolant, prevents air entering the system, reduces overheating, and improves overall cooling efficiency. A worn-out or faulty radiator cap can lead to coolant loss, overheating, and reduced engine performance.

What to look out for in a failing Radiator Cap

A worn or faulty radiator cap can cause serious cooling issues. Watch for these signs:

  • Overheating engine

  • Coolant loss or leakage around the cap area

  • Bubbling or boiling coolant under the cap

  • Low pressure in cooling system and poor heater performance

A radiator cap is a critical maintenance item - replacing it every few years helps maintain proper pressure and prevent overheating.
